A 1/8 scale reproduction of the Pit Monitor Box used in the Ferrari pit garage during the 2000 season, designed to complement and enhance the display of the Ferrari F1-2000.
This accessory has been specifically developed for the 1/8 scale F1-2000 model distributed by Centauria and Fanhome (DeAgostini), recreating one of the most distinctive elements found in the pit garage during Grand Prix weekends.
The Pit Monitor Box recreates the typical monitor station of the period, featuring a CRT-style monitor, external structure and details inspired by the equipment used by Scuderia Ferrari in 2000.
The monitor features scale-reproduced graphics and logos, including the F1-2000 logo, the Prancing Horse, and TAG Heuer and Siemens branding, helping to recreate the appearance of the pit equipment used during that period.
The monitor screen reproduces graphics inspired by the systems used at the time to display car data and telemetry.
Particular attention has also been paid to positioning: the angle of the monitor has been designed to provide optimal alignment with the driver's line of sight when seated in the cockpit, realistically recreating the configuration of the monitor positioned above the Formula 1 car.
The monitor is also LED-backlit, illuminating the screen and adding an extra level of realism to the display. The system is supplied pre-wired and ready for use, complete with a CR2032 battery holder and ON/OFF switch.
Once assembly is complete, the battery holder can be secured underneath the model using double-sided adhesive tape, keeping the power supply system hidden and neatly positioned.
To ensure greater stability during display, the monitor stand is also equipped with double-sided adhesive tape, allowing it to be securely fixed in the desired position.
